ASSET MANAGEMENT

KINTO has a select number of institutions and high net worth individuals for whom we manage custom-made portfolios. Many international investment funds searching for opportunities globally employ a multi-manager approach whereby the funds allocated to a specific country are managed locally. In Ukraine, KINTO is best positioned to serve in this capacity or in the capacity of a local advisor.

Internationally, KINTO started providing such services back in 1995. Then, Wasserstein Perella Emerging Markets and European Privatization and Investment Corporation EPIC started the first international fund for portfolio investments in Ukraine, - the New Ukraine Partners Fund, to which KINTO served as the local advisor.

Domestic investment funds for international clients

Both international institutions and private investors would find significant administrative and economic benefits of buying into existing domestic fund, or, alternatively, setting up such a fund tailored to their specific needs. Here, again, KINTO is their natural choice as the manager.

Currently KINTO manages 10 investment and 4 pension funds with the total net asset value of more than UAH 1Bln.

Portfolio advisory

If, for any reason, a client does not find domestic funds suitable, we can offer portfolio advisory service for the investments, with one of Kiev-based international custodians safekeeping the securities. We would readily provide the prospective customers with the list of such custodians we have dealt with.

From the very beginning, we encourage our clients to specify investment guidelines, such as time horizons and desired rates of return. Clients may further customize their portfolios by outlining their risk management preferences covering asset classes, capitalization sizes, investment style, etc.

BROKERAGE

KINTO, Ltd. – a majority owned by KINTO, Ltd. broker/dealer - has exceptional knowledge of local market conditions and in-house research capabilities to provide insight in the strengths and weaknesses of targets for investment, thorough understanding of local market counterparties’ risks and the ways to minimize them, as well as direct access to all trading platforms and off-market negotiations expertise.

KINTO, Ltd. monitors actual and prospective investments, and alerts clients to any adverse or promising developments. It is also prepared to offer and help implement solutions to potential problems no matter what their cause, including corporate government issues.

CUSTODY

We also offer the custodial services, being among the first companies in the country to obtain a custodian license.
