Established in 1992, KINTO is the oldest and highly reputable securities firm dealing in the Ukrainian stock market. The Company witnessed from the very beginning the establishment of the stock market and greatly contributed to its development.

2007  The asset value of the investment funds under KINTO management exceeded UAH 1 billion.

1999     KINTO and its President Serhiy Oksanych are among the laureates in the state competition «Person of the Year – 1998" in the nomination Ukrainian Securities Market Leader – 98 (KINTO)  and "Financier of the year" (S. Oksanych).

 

1998     State Commission on the Securities and Stock of Ukraine ranked Kinto the first among the traders.

 

1997    KINTO OJSC heads the ranking " The best company in the Ukrainian stock  market"" by Ukrainian Business weekly.

The Company strongly believes and follows a core set of business values to include: integrity, transparency, adherence to a Professional Code of Conduct and prioritizing client’s interest.

 

Independence

In Ukraine, the majority of investment companies belong to larger financial-industrial groups. KINTO belongs to none of them. Being independent, we can provide clients with objective advice, assessments and judgments, not always available from larger financial institutions.

 

Experienced and dedicated team

The vast majority of KINTO’s leading experts have been with the Company since its inception.

 

Analytical potential

International research and market survey companies, such as Thomson Financial, ISI and others, have regularly contracted analysts of the Company. Of the six Ukrainians that received CEFA (Certified European Financial Analyst) certificates to date, four work for KINTO.

 

Co-founder

KINTO is the initiator and co-founder of leading professional associations: Association of the securities traders (AST), Ukrainian Association of Investment Business (UAIB), and First Ukrainian Information Trading System (PFTS). 

 

Legal base development

KINTO experts are members in different working groups developing the new legislature in the sphere of securities and stock market, corporate governance, taxation, etc.

 

Participation in international organizations

KINTO is a founding member of the World Economic Forum's Community of Global Growth Companies. The Community targets at supporting new generation of companies that will fundamentally change the global competitive landscape.

 

KINTO is the member of the European Business Association (EBA). the premier organisation for foreign business in Ukraine which brings together about 750 European, including national, and international companies

 

KINTO pioneered in setting up:

 

1994 Interval diversified unit investment fund Dostatok, the first in the family of Ukrainian domestic voucher funds managed by KINTO. 

 

1996  Open-end investment fund KINTO-Budget, the only fund in Ukraine operating with cash of individuals, undertaking to redeem daily the investment certificates by its net asset value.

 

2003 Closed-end non-diversified corporate investment fund Synergy, the first public investment fund in Ukraine, the shares of which were listed in PFTS and quoted at the organized market.

2004 Open-end diversified unit investment fund Classical, the first of its kind balanced public investment fund in the country open to any individual or institutional investor.

2005  Open pension fund Social Standard, the first non-government pension fund set up by its asset manager KINTO.  The company’s successful experience in investment funds management is implemented in managing pension fund.

2006   Interval diversified unit investment fund Narodny, the first “regional” fund, the securities of which can be purchased not only in Kiev but in other cities of Ukraine as well. 

 

2006  Public investment fund Synergy terminated its activity demonstrating impressive results of 99,8% annual return and made settlements with all shareholders.

 

Customer base

In its corporate finance business, KINTO has provided services to the customers based in Ukraine, the USA, the UK, the Netherlans, France, Denmark, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Austria, Greece, Argentina, south Africa, Ireland. The customers include many international leaders in their respective industries, e.g. Lafrge (Cement), Norsk Hydro (Chemical), AGA (Chemical), CRC (Cement), Brunner Mond (Chemical), Unilever (Food and Chemical), Samancor (Metallurgy).

Currently KINTO manages 10 investment and 4 pension funds:

open-end diversified unit investment fund Classical, interval diversified unit investment fund  Dostatok, interval diversified unit investment fund Narodny, closed-end non-diversified corporate investment funds Synergy-3, Synergy-4, Synergy-5, Synergy-7, Synergy Bond,  Synergy Real Estate and KINTO Capital, open pension funds Social Standard, Garant-Pension, Dynastiya (Lviv), Cherkasy and Ivano-Frankivsk.

 

Plans for the future

Among KINTO’s ambitious plans and targets in the near future is creating the family of investment and pension funds with investment strategies, return and credibility satisfying requirements of the most demanding investors.
